5 Months & A Stinky Skunk
Cohen is now five months old and time is just flying by so quickly! He now likes to sleep on his tummy (he gets that from his mommy) and has even started sleeping with his cute little bottom in the air. He is a little flirt around the ladies (he gets that from his daddy). He loves to stand up and bounce and be in his exersaucer. He is starting to grab everything in sight and loves to grab faces now too. He is a little over 15 lbs (he lost a little bit of weight when he had his ear infection and they determined he has reflux too.)

Fall & Rice Cereal!
Last Saturday we went to Tagawa Garden Center with Mark, Abby, Nolan and Heath. We got to see some animals, watch trains, get tattoos, and decorate pumpkins! I think it was the first of many kiddish things we will do with Cohen...so much fun!

On Saturday, the 16th, we made our first attempt with rice cereal. Cohen wasn't too fond of the rice cereal and hasn't warmed up to it yet...hopefully he will change his mind soon.

COHEN IS 4 MONTHS!!!

Cohen had his 4 month doctor's appointment on September 30. He was 14.6 pounds, Cohen has become very active in the last month and especially the last week. He is rolling over all the time and kicking nonstop. He is really into high-pitched squeals and is starting to laugh more. He just started using his exersaucer the last couple of days and is getting such strong legs. He is getting so big and brings so much joy to our lives. Cohen, we love you so very much and are very thankful for you!
My parents came out for a week for my Grandma Schemper's 90th birthday. It was great having them here. Cohen loved hanging out with his Buddah and Manna. We miss them already. Thanks for coming Mom and Dad, we love you.
Since we haven't done the best job on posting videos of Cohen I decided to make a little video of his four months. (I know it's kind of fun for family that lives else where to see videos of Cohen...it makes him seem more real if you haven't met him yet.) It's a little long and might be boring if you don't like to watch him sleep like I do. :) I tried to cut it down as much as possible. Enjoy!

Long Overdue Update = Very Long Blog
3 MONTHS
Cohen is now 3 months (almost four months now, we just haven't blogged for a long time) and is getting so big! He weighs 14.1 pounds and is smiling all of the time. He has been sleeping through the night since 11 weeks and usually takes a long afternoon nap. He is holding up his head really well and always wants to be sitting or "standing" now. He loves to suck on anything, especially his hands, and will continue to suck in his sleep when nothings in his mouth. Brad tells me I'm crazy but I think he's teething. :)
CU VS. CSU
A couple Saturdays ago we went to the CU vs. CSU game at Invesco. It was a very warm day but we had a great time. We even ran into cousin Mike! Here's a couple of pictures from our fun day.
OUR HOUSE
We closed on our house on August 20 and started moving in that night already. Its been four weeks already and it is finally starting to feel like home. There are no more boxes in any of the rooms and at least everything has a spot for now. We finally got some pictures put up last weekend. We are slowly starting to decorate and we will need to paint a couple of rooms but we are loving our house. We just got Cohen's crib yesterday (his Uncle Wes made him an awesome crib!) so last night was Cohen's first time in his crib! I didn't sleep great last night since Cohen was sooo far away! Okay, so he was only a room over but it felt like he was so far away since he has been in our room since he was born. He's just getting so big so fast. :) Here's a couple of pictures of our moving and progress on our home.
Cohen slept in his bouncy seat and swing pretty much
all of moving day...it hard work for him!
Brad mowing his first lawn! (This was moving
day too...he just couldn't wait.)
Sue helping in the kitchen. She was such a huge help,
we couldn't have finished it without her.
Another Birthday...
Oh, I turned another year older last week as well. I am about ready to start counting down in birthdays instead. :) We celebrated with the Jansen family on Sunday night and went out for dinner at Hacienda with Keith and Shannon on my birthday. It is so wonderful to have family around.
